Plot

A British film adaptation of the romantic novel of William Shakespeare. Stars Douglas Booth as Romeo, Hailee Steinfeld as Juliet, Damian Lewis, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Ed Westwick and Paul Giamatti. The film is set in Renaissance Verona but its quite different from the previous film adaptation that the movie will not use Shakespeare's dialog instead follows only the plot. This causes the film to receive some various criticisms for a lot critics believe that the meaning of the play will be lost and the ads of the movie is misleading. Romeo and Juliet (2013) was directed by Carlo Carlei.
