1 - 1: First Contact

In Australia, the discovery of a race of supposed subhumans, "Hairies," leads to their ghettoization to the poorer parts of Sydney and widespread prejudice and imprisonment. While one family struggles to survive, two human half-brothers are split when their uncle gives one of them the powers of the shaman--the Cleveman--but the brother who is chosen doesn't want the responsibility.
