The gang consist of: Tina, an aspiring jockey, her boyfriend Rob, house-mate Annie, vet Janine and the farmer's son, James. Their world is torn apart when a the body of a teenager is found. The gang struggle to cope with their grief. However a young police officer, Ruth Rosen, is involved with the investigation. Will she suspects one of the gang? How will the gang react to life from now on?
