Created and performed by Barbara Bergin and Gary Cooke, On The Couch is a gleefully comic exploration of relationships in crisis as we follow three couples entering therapy for the first time. On The Couch invites you to become the fly-on-the-wall, the therapist, the judge, the jury: to watch, squirm, demonise and empathise with the characters. This is the clients’ experience of Therapy, the experience of being cleaved open. As their journey progresses everyone is forced to confront the difference between what they say and what they actually do.
