Jenny is feeling stressed about beginning her teaching rounds at Renwood. Dot thinks that she should try a dose of tough love but after Jenny attempts this approach, it only makes the situation worse. Following a talk with Bridget, she decides that the best course of action is to become friends with her pupils.
